Gude Strike is a puzzle/precision game where the player must hit all target balls in each level to unlock the next one. Within the levels, the player has access to two camera views: one for observing the level and planning their move, and another where they can set the force and point of impact on their ball. As they progress through levels, the player earns bags with three different rarities: common, rare, and legendary. These bags contain a ball style corresponding to the rarity of the bag, with over 100 different ball styles available. When the player acquires a ball, they can assign a name to it and even change its color, depending on the rarity.

Each level presents a unique challenge, and the player must use their creativity to overcome obstacles and hit the target balls. Some obstacles found in the levels include ramps, wind zones, moving walls, portals, laser walls, and more.
